In today’s world, communication skills are as important as ever and with online technologies you can speak to your audience live no matter where they live. Prep for Success will teach you to maximize your impact while still being true to who you are so the right people want to connect with you.
Step by step, Danielle will guide you through the entire process, from conceptualizing your idea to rehearsing in a way that allows you to speak from the heart in a structured, organized and eloquent way, to what sort of questions to ask the venue where you’re speaking.
Prep for Success serves anyone who wishes to give presentations to an audience, whether a sales presentation to a small group, a lecture to a roomful of colleagues at a conference or a TED talk. It’s designed for people who want to communicate authentically and engage their audience no matter the topic or the size of the room.
It is recommended that you complete one module a week and that you put aside 2 hours for each module. The course should take approximately eight hours over a time period of four weeks.
The videos themselves are between 10 and 20 minutes long, but this course isn’t about watching videos. You will have assignments to complete that result in the talk you want to give.
In reality how much time you need to put in will depend on how long your talk is, how important the talk is to you, and how much time you have before you get on stage.
